はじめに

　小細胞癌は全身のあらゆる臓器に発生しうるが肺外原発のものは小細胞肺癌とは異なる臨床像をもつ稀な悪性腫瘍と考えられている^1）。今回，われわれは小児の副鼻腔に発生した肺外小細胞癌の1例を経験したので若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

　An extrapulmonary small cell carcinoma is a very rare disease with poor prognosis. We reported a case of 13-year-old girl who complained of nasal obstruction and neck swelling. Computed tomography showed a tumor in her right ethmoidal sinuses. Small cell carcinoma was diagnosed histopathologically. Chemotherapy and photon/proton radiotherapy were effective. Moreover, high dose chemotherapy with autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation were performed. Shortly after the treatment, however, she had a cerebral recurrence and died of the disease progression after ten months.
