腎原発の小細胞癌

A CASE OF PRIMARY SMALL CELL CARCINOMA OF KIDNEY

　腎原発の小細胞癌の1症例を経験した。患者は37歳，男性で，腹部腫瘤を主訴に来院した。左腎腫瘍の診断のもと，腎塞栓術後に左腎摘術を行った。摘出腎は壊死に陥った腫瘍がそのほとんどを占め，重さは2460gであった。光顕所見は小型の円形または卵円形の核で細胞質の少ない腫瘍細胞の増殖を認め，電顕所見で神経分泌顆粒をみとめた。

A case of primary small cell carcinoma of kidney is presented.The patient was a 37-years-old male who consulted us with the presenting symptom of an intraabdominal mass.Under the diagnosis of a left kidney tumor he underwent left nephrectomy after receiving embolization.The extracted kidney was 2460 g in weight,the bulk of which was occupied by tumor tissue interspersed with necrotic foci.Light microscopic examination revealed proliferating small tumor cells with rounded or oval nuclei and scarce of cytoplasma.On electron microscopy the cells were noted to contain neurosecretory granules.
