I．はじめに

　眼窩腫瘍に占める転移性腫瘍の頻度は3～8％であり^1），比較的少ない疾患である。悪性腫瘍の既往がなく，画像所見上眼窩周囲の骨破壊が認められない場合，悪性腫瘍と他の炎症性疾患との鑑別は困難であり生検が不可欠となる。

　われわれは，右眼瞼腫脹で初発し，鼻内内視鏡手術（endoscopic sinus surgery：以下ESSと略）で生検を行い乳癌の眼窩転移と診断し得た症例を経験したので，文献的考察を加えて報告する。

　A 47-year-old female complained of a swelling of the right eyelid and exophthalmos. She had no history of systemic cancer. CT and MRI showed an enhancing mass surrounding the eyeball in the orbit. Biopsy by the endoscopic sinus surgery was performed,and the specimen was examined by immunohistochemistry. As the result,breast carcinoma was suspected. It was shown that the origin of the metastatic tumor to the orbit in female is almost mammary gland（62％）.
