I．はじめに

　類基底細胞扁平上皮癌（basaloid squamous cell carcinoma：以下，BSCC）は，扁平上皮癌（squamous cell carcinoma：以下，SCC）の一亜型として1986年にWainら^1）によって提唱された比較的新しい疾患である。SCCと比べ予後不良な疾患と考えられ早期発見と早期治療が望まれるが，進行が早く複雑な組織像を呈するため早期にBSCCと診断され難い。今回われわれは，舌右側辺縁部に発生したBSCCを経験したので若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

Basaloid squamous cell carcinoma（BSCC）was described in 1986,as a variant of squamous cell carcinoma（SCC）. In this paper,we report a case of BSCC of the tongue,which was initially diagnosed as SCC by biopsy. We performed resection of tongue tumor and ipsilateral supraomohyoid neck dissection,and the final pathological examination showed BSCC. BSCC has been reported as more invasive and metastatic than SCC. Thus patients should be observed carefully after the treatment.
