　網膜静脈分枝閉塞症に伴う黄斑浮腫に対し，アセタゾラミド投与，高気圧酸素療法，格子状網膜光凝固術，硝子体手術を施行し，その有効性を光干渉断層計を用いて評価した。対象は網膜静脈分枝閉塞症で黄斑浮腫を伴う4症例で，各治療の前後の視力，光干渉断層計により測定した黄斑部網膜厚，静的視野を比較した。視力，網膜厚は全症例で改善したが，高気圧酸素療法においては，治療を中止すると再び網膜厚が厚くなった。静的視野は網膜光凝固後において増悪した。結果として，硝子体手術が黄斑浮腫を最も早く，効果的に改善できた。またOCTは黄斑浮腫に対する治療効果の評価に有用である。

We treated 4 eyes with branch retinal vein occlusion (BRVO) with macular edema. Each eye was treatedeither with acetazolamide, hyperbaric oxygen, laser photocoagulation, or vitrectomy. We examined visual acuity, macularthreshold, and retinal thickness using an optical coherence tomography before and after treatment. Visual acuity andretinal thickness improved in all the eyes. The retinal thickness increased again after hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Themacular threshold deteriorated after laser photocoagulation. In the present series, vitrectomy was the most effectiveprocedure for macular edema in BRVO. Optical coherence tomography was a useful means to evaluate the therapeuticoutcome.
