（P1-3-17）　3例の特発性uveal effusion症例を硝子体切除術，経網膜網膜下液排除，液—ガス交換で治療した。強膜部分切除術＋強膜開窓術が無効であった第1例に本法が成功したので，他の2症例には最初から硝子体手術を試み，全例1回の手術で網膜は復位し，視力も2段階以上回復した。3例とも経過観察期間中，再剥離はみられていない。

We treated 3 eyes of retinal detachment secondary to idiopathic uveal effusion syndrome. The first case was initially treated by partial-thickness sclerectomy in two quadrants which proved to be a failure. The retinal detachment healed following another surgery with pars plana vitrectomy, internal drainage of subretinal fluid and fluid-gas exchange. This procedure was performed on the other two cases with success. In all the 3 eyes, the retina became reattached and the visual acuity improved by 2 lines or more. There has been no recurrence so far.
