　眼症状を訴えない乾癬患者28例と正常人18例について，房水フレア値の測定と角膜内皮撮影を行い，角膜内皮細胞密度，平均細胞面積，六角細胞出現率，変動係数の各パラメータについて解析した。乾癬患者の房水フレア値は正常人に比べて有意に高値であった。また，乾癬患者の角膜内皮細胞密度は正常人と比較して有意に低く，房水フレア値との問で負の相関がみられた。しかし，変動係数と六角細胞出現率については両者に有意差をみなかった。乾癬患者におけるsubclinicalな前房内炎症が角膜内皮細胞密度を低下させる可能性が示された。

We evaluated 28 patients of psoriasis regarding the corneal endothelial cells and aqueous flare. Another series of 18 healthy persons served as control. The aqueous flare, measured by a laser flare cell meter, showed significantly higher values in the patients than in controls (p ＜ 0.001) . When examined by a specular microscope, the patients' eyes showed significantly decreased cell density and increased averaged area of corneal endothelial cells. The aqueous flare value was positively correlated with the average cell area. No significant difference was present in hexagonality or coefficient of variation of endothelial cells between both groups. The findings show the presence of subclinical inflammation in the anterior ocular segment with damaged corneal endotheial cells in psoriasis patients.
