（17-P1-18）　1990年から1996年の7年間に、大分県立病院眼科で診察した出生体重1,500g未満の極低出生体重児（生存例）313例を対象とし，未熟児網膜症（ROP）の発症率，治療率，予後および合併症につき検討した。発症率は134例（42.8％）であった。治療はアルゴンレーザー光凝固を26例（8.3％）に行い，2例には冷凍凝固を追加した。治療開始は31週以降であった。25例（99.7％）は，grade 1以下の瘢痕を残すのみとなった。ROPを発症した極低出生体重児の屈折は，非発症群に比べ近視傾向を示した。眼位異常は19例（6.1％）であり高頻度であった。脳室周囲白質軟化症や脳室内出血がある超低出生体重児ではROPを伴うことが多く，眼位異常例もみられた。

We reviewed a consecutive series of 313 infants weighing less than 1,500 g at birth during 7 years through 1996. Following items of retinopathy of prematurity were evaluated : incidence, treatment, clinical outcome and complica-tions. Photocoagulation was performed in 26 infants (8.3%) and additional cryocoagulation in 2, usually after 31 weeks of gestation. Infants with retinopathy showed a tendency to myopia compared with those without retinopathy. Abnormalities in eye position were present in 19 infants. Infants with central nervous system disorders, as periventricular leukomalacia or intraventricular hemorrhage, were prone to develop retinopathy and eye position abnormalities.
