　ベーチェット病とシェーグレン症候群の合併は，これまで報告されていない。筆者らはこれら2疾患を合併した症例を初めて報告した。症例はいずれも女性で，50歳の完全型と，56歳の陰部潰瘍を欠く不全型のベーチェット病である。2症例はまたシェーグレン症候群と確定診断された。両疾患の合併の機序は明らかではないが，1例では，HLAの関与が示唆された。また合併の起こりにくい理由として，性ホルモンが関与している可能性が考えられた。

We observed two cases of Behçet's disease as-sociated with Sjögren's syndrome. Both were females, aged 50 and 56 years. The first case manifested complete clinical features of Behçet's disease of 23 years' duration. Her HLA pattern included B12 and DRw3. The second case lackedgenital ulcer and was diagnosed as incomplete Behçet's disease. Aphthous stomatitis initiated the disease during childhood. Association of Behçet's disease and Sjögren's syndrome has not been report-ed so far in literature. While the mechanism of this association is not clear, the HLA pattern may have played a role in the first case. Sex hormones seemed to have suppressed the clinical manifesta-tion of Sjögren's syndrome till advanced age in these cases.
