ベーチェット病患者の血清免疫抑制酸性蛋白

Serum immunosuppressive acidic protein in Behçet's disease

　ベーチェット病患者37例の血清免疫抑制酸性蛋白（IAP）について調べた．健常人61例を対照とした．Studentのt検定により，患者のIAPは活動期非活動期ともに対照より有意に高く（P＜0.0001），活動期は非活動期に比べ有意に高かった（P＜0.0001）．患者16例で，IAPは眼発作後もっとも高く，症状の回復とともに低くなる傾向がみられた．1例の患者で，発作直前にIAPの明らかな上昇が認められた．IAPは，ベーチェット病において臨床的に有用な指標と考えられる．

We evaluated as series of 37 patients with Behçet's disease as to the titer of serum im-munosuppressive acidic protein (IAP). The find-ings were checked against those of 61 healthy adults as control.

The IAP titer was significantly higher in the patients than in the control by Student's t-test (p< 0.0001). The titer was significantly higher inpatients during the active phase of the disease (n= 86) than during the inactive stage (n=130 (p< 0.0001). We observed a trend in 16 patients for the titer to attain its peak during the ocular attack and to gradually decrease as the inflammation subsided.A sharp rise in the titer occurred shortly before the attack in one case. The serum IAP titer thus promised to be of value as an index for activity of the systemic and the ocular lesion in Behcet's dis-ease.
