　44歳男性の左眼および53歳男性の左眼に認められた角膜真菌症に対してmico-nazoleの点滴静注療法を行った．この療法により病変は4〜5日目から改善傾向を示し，3週間，24,600mgの投与により治癒した．第1例では0.04であった視力が1.0となり，第2例では0.05から0.5に回復した．投与中に血清の中性脂肪およびリン脂質の価が上昇したが，投与終了後は速やかに正常値に復し，それ以外の副作用は認められなかった．

Two cases with fungal keratitis were successfully treated with intravenous miconazole at the daily dosis of 1,200mg for 3 weeks. Aspergillus fumigatus and Beauveria bassiana were respectively isolated. The process of regression and healing of the ulcer started 4 or 5 days after initiation of therapy. The clinical evidence of ocular infection disappeared completely 4 weeks later associated with marked improvement in visual acuities. Aside from a tran-sient rise in serum triglycerides and β-lipoproteins, the drug was well tolerated in both cases.
