Abstract 文献概要

　Levamisole （LMS）の実質型角膜ヘルペス患者における細胞性免疫能に対する効果を調べることを目的として，実質型角膜ヘルペス患者の末梢血中リンパ球の各種mitogenに対する反応性を調べて，以下の結果が得られた。

（1） LMSの投与を行っている症例では，実質型角膜ヘルペス患者の末梢血中リンパ球の3種mitogen （PHA, ConA, PWM）に対する反応性は正常例と有意差を認めなかった。

（2） LMS投与を中止して7カ月以上経過した症例およびステロイド剤治療を行っている症例においては，末梢血中リンパ球の3種mitogen （PHA, ConA, PWM）に対する反応性は，LMS投与中および正常例と比較して有意に上昇していた。

（3）これらの結果から，実質型角膜ヘルペス患者において，LMSはT-cell系の機能を正常に保つことによって，その臨床効果を発揮する可能性があると考えられる。

For the purpose of determining the effect of levamisole on cell-mediated immunity of patients with stromal herpetic keratitis, the response of peripheral lymphocytes to three types of mitogen (PHA, Con A and PWM) was examined on a total of 19 cases (16 effective cases). They were composed of 12 patients with stromal herpetic keratitis undergoing levamisole therapy and 7 cases more than seven months after completion of levamisole administration.

As controls, similar study was made on 35 healthy individuals without eye disease and on 19 patients with stromal herpetic keratitis who underwent topical steroid therapy.
