（1）限球打撲により，硝子体基底部の剥離が起り，これと共に底様体扁平部上皮が細長く断裂し，網膜剥離が合併した1症例を報告した。

（2）毛様体扁平部上皮の断裂は，上方約1象限に及び，細長く断裂した上皮の索状物は，剥離した硝子体膜に付着して，bridge状を呈し，限球内に浮遊していた。

（3）水晶体の偏位，脱臼が認められず，このbridge状に断裂した毛様体扁平部上皮は，その鼻側根部で，周辺網膜に癒着し，該部網膜と毛様体上皮断裂部のedgeを牽引することにより網膜剥離が起ったものと考える。

We observed a case with retinal detachment associated with tearing of the pars plana ciliary epithelium following the traction of the avulsed vitreous base due to blunt ocular trauma.

The tear of the pars plana epithelium extended over the whole upper quadrant. A strip of this tissue adhered to the avulsed vitreous membrane and floated in the vitreous like a bridge. We think that, because dislocation of the lens was absent, this type of the retinal detachment was induced by the traction to the edge of ciliary epithelial dialysis and the retina to which the bridge-like strip was adherent at its nasal end.
