　胞状網膜剥離12例の臨床像につき検討し報告した。

　本症の基本病態は，網膜血液関門の破綻であり，ドーナツ型滲出斑，両眼性，下液の移動性を伴った網膜剥離，視力不良等は，2次的な修飾された変化であり，本症を中心性網膜炎の重症型として位置づけることが可能ではないかと考按した。

Twelve patients developed central serous choro-idopathy with bullous retinal detachment. Those patients were all middleaged, all but one were males, and three cases were unilateral. Six patients had a past history of recurrent central serous cho-roidopathy. Serous detachment of the retina was associated with doughnut-shaped exudative fleck, whose color was grayish-white or grayish-green, and the size ranged form 1/2 to 2 disc diameters. The degree of retinal detachment was variable: bullous detachment with shifting of subretinal fluid in severe cases, and flat serous detachment in the posterior pole in mild cases.
