緒　言

　Friedman^1）がseminonaやdysgerminomaの形態を示す腫瘍に対し，発症部位にかかわらず，germinomaと名付けることを提唱して以来，組織学的に種々の検討が加えられ，最近では異所性松果体腫に対し，suprasellar germinomaの診断名が一般化している^2）。Suprasellar germinomaは欧米では稀な疾患とされ，眼科領域における報告は極めて少ない^3，4）。今回われわれはトルコ鞍上部の腫瘍で，組織学的にgerminomaと診断された12症例の眼症状について，臨床病理的に検討したので報告する。

We evaluated clinicopathological features of 12 cases with suprasellar germinoma during the past 6-year period. The commonest initialsymptom was diabetes insipidus, followed by visual disturbance and hypofunction of the anterior pituitary lobe. Ocular findings were variable. Visual acuity ranged from nil to 1.5 and visual disturbance progressed insidiously in 6 cases and relatively rapidly in 3. Nine cases manifested asymmetrical bitemporal hemianopsia. Homonymous hemianopsia, central scotoma and normal visual field was seen in one case each.
