緒　言

　ベーチェット病における硝子体病変としては硝子体混濁，後部硝子体剥離が想起され，末期では網膜を牽引する程の線維化を生じ，網膜剥離を併発したり，硝子体そのものが消失する高度の変化を示す報告もある^1）。

　これらの硝子体病変の網膜血管病変に対する影響についてはいまだ検討されたことがなく，さらに硝子体病変についての多数例での臨床的検索はなされていない。

We examined 52 cases (63 affected eyes) with Behçet's disease with particular attention to the associated vitreous lesion. The ages of the pa-tients ranged from 16 to 58 years (average : 35. 5 years).Only such patients in whom the vitreous and the fundus were visible were included in the present study. Slitlamp microscopy with three-mirror contact lens was routinely used.

Detachment of the posterior vitreous was pre-sent in all the 58 eyes with active intraocular inflammation except 5. It developed at an early stage of ocular involvement of the disease.
