緒　言

　後極部に網脈絡膜症を伴う続発性網膜剥離の症例は，1971年浦山ら^1）により報告されて以来，多数の報告例がみられる。最近，宇山ら^2）は，このような病像を示す症例を一つのclinical entityを持つ疾患であることを示し，また吉岡^3）は，これをUveal Effusionの後極型とする説を出しているなど，病像がかなりはつきりしているにもかかわらず，一般には，統一された見解は出されていない。諸氏の報告をみると，多くは，両眼性で，しかも比較的短期間のうちに両眼に発症している。今回，われわれは，諸氏の報告と同型であろうと考えられ，第1眼発症から，およそ7年後に第2眼の発症をみた症例を経験したので報告する。

A 42-year-old male developed bullous detach-ment of the retina (Gass) in his right eye. The patient had been by us 7 years before with the same condition in his left eye. Besides this pecu-liar involvement of both eyes at an interval of 7 years, the patient manifested following clinical features.

Treatment with systemic corticosteroid and antibiotics did not seem to influence the course of the disease, as the detachment healed sponta-neous after 4 months. There was no evidence of inflammation in the anterior chamber and the vitreous on slitlamp examination.
