緒 言
緑内障の診断，治療，管理の上で視神経乳頭cupの形，位置，量，色調等はきわめて重要な意義を有し，時には視野以上の役割を演ずることがあり，細隙灯顕微鏡による乳頭のステレオ観察なしでは乳頭所見を云々できないとするのが現在の考え方である。
問題は対象が三次元のものであるから，これを写真やスケッチ等で再現すると二次元的となり，これらをもとに論ずることは二次元的な低レベルの論議に終つてしまう。
With the method of color stereophotogram-metry, we Observed total or patial reversion of glaucomatous disc cupping in 6 eyes of 7 and 10 month-old babies, 11 and 21 year-old boys and 63 year-old man, the last patient being the oldest ever reported in the literature. The total reversion of the enlarged cup was found only in the babies. The grade of the reversion decreased with age.
The shape of the reversible cup was a ge-neralized omnidirectional enlargement and pre-served a pink rim around the entire circumfe-rence.
