  • Abstract
  • Look Inside

A technique for cine-goniophotography was developed. A 16 mm Bolex motor-drive camera was mounted on the Zeiss photoslit apparatus using the original lens system of the latter. A magnification of 1×, 2× and 4× was thus at-tained. The continuous xenon light of the Zeiss coagulator was employed for illumination. The xenon light was harmless when used under off-focus conditions.

Excellent cine-pictures were obtained with Kodachrome II color film (ASA 40).

A suction goniolens, newly designed by K. Iwata, was employed. As the episcleral venous pressure was raised through suction. the Sch-lemm's canal began to redden.
