I．緒言

　著者の一人大塚は1960年日眼総会で発表した通り，トラコーマの診断即ちトラコーマ性濾胞と非トラコーマ性濾胞の鑑別を正常細胞の電位と濾胞に於ける電位の間の電位差を知る事によつて鑑別可能であることを立証した。そこで私共はトラコーマを抗生物質で治療を行う場合トラコーマが次第に軽快して治癒に到るまでの治療過程中の電位差を測定して其電位差の推移に就いて観察したる処極めて興味ある成績を得たので茲に報告する次第である。

We selected 30 cases (Tr. Ⅰ 15 cases, Tr. Ⅱ 15 cases), which had been diagnosed by measurement of potential difference in the conjunctiva and observed the progress of the potencial difference, while every case was treated with 0.5% Teramycin or 1% Teramy-cin for these Tr. Ⅰ and Tr. Ⅱ.

The results were as follows ;

These potencial differences in the conjunctiva could not emerge from the sphere of po-tencial diffecence of Tr. T and Tr. Ⅱ until 4 weeks, but dropped relatively speedy after 4 weeks.
