Double-Ptismを応用せる簡単な両眼視訓練器

緒言

　最近数年間に我国でも斜視の治療に関してその機能的治癒が問題とされ，Orthopticsが臨床的に応用される様になつた。

　Chavasseによれば^1a），あらゆる種類の斜視は正常の両眼視反射に何らかの変化，変性を来すことにより発現するとしたが，Orthopticsという分野はこの両眼視の状態を検査し，この欠陥を訓練により除去し，両眼視を達成せしめるものである。両眼視にはいろいろな段階があり，その矯正訓練に当つては，対象となる患者の両眼視機能の障碍の程度，種類により，又患者の年齢等に応じて，夫々に適当した方法がとられ，従つてそれに供される器械も少なくない。

The author presented an instrument for orthoptic training with two rotatory prisms and its use. Each prism contains two rotatable 10Δ prisms and pointer which can be rotated by means of a screw at the side of each eye-piece. The direction of prismatic effect is gai-ned, in every optional direction for treatment, according to rotating a bar. Thus the apparatus has a maximum total prismatic effect of 40 prism dioptres.

It is available for strengthening fusion power and also for some examinations of strabi-smus such as prism reflex test, prism cover test and etc.
