外眼筋の筋電図に見られる周期性，その斜視眼に於ける変化—その1．麻痺性斜視の拮抗筋について

Electromyographical studies of strabismus :ReportⅠ. On the antagonist of a paralysed extraocular muscle

緒言

　斜視を筋電図によつて解析しようとする試みは外眼筋の筋電図が始まつた当初からの1つの目標であつたが，最近迄殆んど手がつけられなかつた。それは斜視という現象が元来定量的な方法を以て即ち数値を以て表現される現象であるのに，一般に筋電図は技術的に数値を以て表現されにくいものだからである。

　Björk^1）（1954），Breinin^2）（1958）はその論文の中で共働性斜視の外眼筋の筋電図について僅かに言及しているが，何れも推測の域を出ない。鈴木（1959）（私信）は，単一神経筋単位（NMU）の放電頻度を指標として共働性斜視の広範な研究を行つた。これは共働性斜視に於ける筋電図的研究の最初の業績と云える。

As the first trial of electromyographical investigations of strabismus, the antagonist of the paralysed extraocular muscle was observed and analysed, on a case of oculomoto-rius palsy and on three cases of abducens palsy of one eye.

As has been reported by the author, markedly periodical vibrations are observable on the recorded waves of action potentials of an extraocular muscle. Investigations were made regarding the frequency of these rhythmical waves.
