I．緒言

　網膜剥離復位眼の光覚についての記載は，剥離時に障碍された光覚の，復位による改良を指摘しているものの，その詳細な知見には乏しい状態である。

　著者はさきに，網膜黄斑部の暗順応を，その剥離時から復位後約7カ月にわたつて計測し，復位網膜中心部の光覚の様相をうかがつたが，続いて光覚をその作働域的に追求する目的で，網膜剥離復位眼の暗順応状態における微弱光視標の視認野を検討したので，その成績を報告する。

In order to study the state of disturbance to the light sensitive area and the recovery of light sense in the eye after repair of retinal detachment, 30 eyes of 29 cases with sponta-neous retinal detachment, in which reattachment had succeeded by a single tear closing diathermy operation, were examined for the dark field over a period extending from the time of retinal detachment to about four months following repair of the condition.

The method of examination consisted of measuring with a dark-room perimeter designed by myself the area over which a dim illumimation target could be seen after 60 minutes dark adaptation.
