前眼部血管の形態的病変に関する研究—第4報 糖尿病患者の血管走行形態について

Studies on the Morphological Changes of the Bulbar Conjunctival Vessels Report:4. On the Form of the Vessels of Diabetic Patients.

緒言

　近年糖尿病に関する知見が豊富になつており，治療法にも種々の改善が試みられ，平均余命は著しく延長したが，その反面合併症特に眼合併症が増加して来ているのは多くの文献が示す所である。網膜血管の変化は腎糸球体血管の病変と共に既に多くの注意を以て観察されているにも拘らず，糖尿病患者の前眼部血管の変化については少数の研究があるに過ぎない。著者は糖尿病患者の前眼部変化を観察し，高熱作業者のそれと比較した結果，露出部に於ける変化は外界の影響を受け易いが，隠蔽部に於ける血管瘤などの変化は全身血管変化の1つの現われとして解し得るので，或る程度の診断的価値を有する旨を既に第1報^1），第2報^2）において報告し，又，球結膜毛細血管瘤は網膜毛細血管瘤と形態的に相似していることを伸展標本のPAS染色により之を第3報^3）として報告した。今回は球結膜血管の走行形態などについて資料をまとめたのでここに報告する。

A comparative biomicroscopic study has been made of the bulbar conjunctival vascular bed of 257 diabetics and 170 normal persons of various ages.

1. The from of vessels of the diabetic patients had no particular difference from that of normal persons in all ages.

2. The incidence of the angular form of vessels increased according to aging in diabe-tic patients. In the group of 20 years old, the diabetic patients showed more angular forms than normal ones.

3. It was clarified that the incidence of irregularity of vessels was higher in diabetics than in normal persons.
