前眼部血管の形態的病変に関する研究—第1報 高熱作業者について

Studies on the morphological changes of the bulbar conjunctival vessels:report 1. workers at furnaces

緒言

　人間が疾病に罹患した時に細小血管の演ずる役目は極めて重要であると信ぜられるにも拘らず，それを検査する方法が困難なるために明確に知ることが難かしい。即ち細小血管の機能と形態的病変を検査するためには，細小動脈から細小静脈の末端までを迫跡し観察することの出来る組織が必要であり，且つ出来るだけ組織に侵襲を加えないように観察することが望ましいが，この目的に適している唯一の場所は眼球結膜の細小血管である。

　それ故に従来多くの先人達が種々の疾患において眼底の病変を検査すると共に，眼球結膜病変特に細小血管の病変について観察し，その変化が全身疾患の種類により如何に変化するかを記載して来た。その結果は前眼部血管の変化を意味ありとする者，或は意味なしとする者と相半ばし，又，血管変化の生ずる部位についてもそれが細小動脈であるか，細小静脈であるか，毛細血管であるか明確に記載のないものもあつた。

68 examined men were selected among 79 furnaceside workers in Kawasaki branch ofthe Nihonkokan Iron Manufacturing Company Ltd., in two selecting standards: the bra-chial artery pressure with average less than 110mmHg and the negative reaction of uri-nary diabetis protein. The examination was executed by a slit lamp microscopy to the bulbar conjunctival Vessels. Its result was as follows.

1) Microaneurysms of the bulbar conjunctival vessels was found in the incidence 63.2 percent which was higher than 38 cases of 177 ordinary persons (corresponded to 12.5 percent).
