眼底血圧と脳循環並びに腎循環との関係に関する研究—第1報 老人篇

Correlation of retinal arterial pressure cerebral circulation and renal circulation in aged persons

緒言

　近年に於ける医学の発展，特に治療面での急速な進歩と，予防面の発達に伴つて，死亡率が減少し，老年者が，人口中の少なからぬ割合を占める様になり，老人病学という新しい分野がひらけてきた。人体の老化に伴う循環状態の変化を考える時，年齢増加に伴つて進行する動脈硬化は重要な一因子であり，又，老人に多く発生する高血圧症との結びつきによつて注目される問題である。

　従来，眼底検査は，脳内血管変状を推測する手がかりとして賞用されて来た。病理解剖学的にも脳血管と眼血管に相関のあることは，Rinteln，樋渡その他の諸家により報告されているところである。しかし，肉眼的観察の精密さには限度があり，生体の管理という点からいつて，機能的な面からも併せて観察することが要望される。Kety&　SchmidtのN₂O法による脳循環測定法は，内頸動脈領域の循環状態を知る優れた方法として発展してきた。眼科の領域に於ては，検眼鏡的観察と併せて眼底血圧測定を行うことの重要性が，Weigelin等によつて強調され，多くの研究者によつて検討されつつある。

As a consequence of progress in the world of medicine made in recent years, the portion of high age group is becoming much larger in population structure. In the evaluation of various pathologic conditions, age factor is very important which must be taken into ac-count. From these view point we have observed the change in circulatory system, as vie-wed from retinal arterial pressure (R. A. P.), cerebral circulation, in aged and younger group.

1) We found no remarkable difference of mean R. A. P. between aged and Younger group as far as essential hypertension and control group is Concerned.
