第1節　緒言

　所謂眼底血圧に就ては既にBailliart以来多数の考按発表が行われているが，従来の方法では主観的要素が多くてその判定は甚だ困難な場合が多かつた。然し眼底血圧の測定は特に最近諸種の高血圧症の頻発によつて必要不可欠のものとなり，全身的にも局所的にも重要視される問題となつた。そこでより簡単で主観的誤差の少い方法が目標とされていたが1953年植村，川島氏等によつて全く新しい原理に基いて電気眼底血圧計が考按されたことは周知のとおりである。その後1957年広石，菅野氏等も又新型電気眼底血圧計を発表しこの方面の研究はこの1，2年間に長足の進展を示した感じが強い。

　これ等の装置によれば主観的誤差を少くして同時に眼球圧迫脈波を記録出来るので，血圧値丈でなく眼底血管の機能的又器質的の性格も観察又は推測することが出来る。

Analytical studies were made on the corneal pulse wave, caused by pulsation of retinal central artery, using C. A. P. meter (Uemura) for 120 hypertentioner.

We can discern the results that retinal arterial pressure, volument elasticity, clinical rigi-dity and peripheral resistance rise upward but then pulsation's area and blood flow down-ward.

By this means the character of blood vessels was articulated dynamically and then diag-nosis, prognosis for arteriosclerosis were sugested more clearly.
