視束中心動脈閉鎖について

Obstruction of Central Artery of the Optic Nerve

　戦後，食餌及び生活様式の変化によると考えらる循環器障碍の増加が，世界的に認められているが，本邦でも，その例にもれず，眼科領域においても，血管障碍に因する疾患が増加している。急性全横断性球後視束炎の症状を呈し，視束中心動脈の閉塞によると考えられる2症例を経験したので報告する。

Two cases of obstruction of central artery of the optic nerve (Francois et al.) were pr-sented. The one was 62 years old, the other 66 years old. Sudden and severe visual loss appeared unilaterally in each case and it was something like acute retrobulbar optic neuri-tis.

In their course, both cases revealed the inferior-nasal defect of visual field similar to quadrantanopsia.

Retrobulbar injection of vasodilators such as priscol and adenylic acid was followed by excellent improvement of vision.
