角膜コンタクトレンズの研究—（その2）白子眼に対するスフエリコンレンズの装用経験

A Study on the Corneal Contact Lens (Ⅱ):Studies of the corneal lenses (PartⅡ), application of Sphercon lens to albinotic eyes.

緒言

　白子眼に虹彩を描いたコンタクトレンズを用いるとよいと云う意見が内外の成書^（1）に述べられている。その目的とするところは屈折異常の矯正と羞明感を軽減せしめるためである。しかし従来の角鞏膜型ならびに角膜コンタクトレンズでは一般に装用時間が短いために実用的にはあまり成功したという報告が見られないようである。著者は先般スフエリコンレンズの眼球振盪眼への装用に成功^（2）したが，今度更に着色スフエリコンレンズを眼球振盪症を併せ有する白子眼に応用して良い結果を得たのでここに発表する。

Although it is described in texts that the colored contact lens can be applied on albinism or anirinia, no successful case has been reported.

The auther applied Sphericon lens made of which was colored in smoky green on 2 cases of albinism (21. year old female and 7 year-old male) with success. Both of the cases are wearing them all day and are cosmetically improved for the normal applarance of the pupil and the colored hairs. Photophobia diminished greatly.

Trial lenses were used for meassuring the posterior radius of the cornea successfully in spite of the presnce of nystagmus.
