コンタクトレンズ装用眼の微小な点状表層角膜症の有症率

Incidence of superficial punctate keratopathy in contact lens wearers

要約　目的：コンタクトレンズ装用眼での点状表層角膜症の頻度の報告。対象と方法：2006年4月以降に受診したコンタクトレンズ装用者481名962眼を対象とした。フルオレセインで角膜を染色し，点状表層角膜症の有無を検索した。結果：点状表層角膜症は432眼（44.9％）にあった。ハードコンタクトレンズでは172眼中97眼（56.4％），ソフトコンタクトレンズでは790眼中335眼（42.4％）にあった。結論：最小限の微小な所見まで含めて検索すると，コンタクトレンズ装用眼には点状表層角膜症が高頻度に存在する。

Abstract.　Purpose：To report the incidence of superficial punctate keratopathy in contact lens wearers. Cases and Method：This prospective study was made on 962 eyes of 481 consecutive contact lens wearers seen later than April 2006. All the eyes were examined after staining by fluorescein. Results：Superficial punctate keratopathy was detected in 432 eyes（44.9％）. It was present in 97 out of 172 eyes（56.4％）of hard contact lens wearers. It was present in 335 out of 790 eyes（42.4％）of soft contact lens wearers. Conclusion：Contact lens wearers have a high incidence of superficial punctate keratopathy when smallest detectable lesions are included.
