　私は約3年間に先天涙嚢瘻の10数例に遭遇したが，その内比較的詳細に観察する事が出来た。12例を茲に記載報告する。

The author presents here a report on 12 cases of school-children suffering from the con-genital fistulo of lacrimal sac. Of them 8 cases were not aware of their disorder at the time of medical examination, and only four were consciously aware of the disorder the-mselves. Furthermore, having observed a case in which the opening of fistula had closed completely 2 weeks after a single insertion of Bowman's bougie as well as the cases with spontaneous dimunition of the tearoutflow and with constriction of the fistula, even left intact, is it believed that there have been some which possessed a tendency to recover spontaneously.
