　9年間に取り扱った先天性鼻涙管閉塞約550例中，生後5〜89日の乳児9例に涙嚢羊水瘤の合併をみた．すなわち8例は生下時から，1例は生後10日目に，内側眼瞼靱帯直下の腫瘤をあらわした．急性炎症も伴ったものが2例あった．前部下甲介嵌入が1例に認められた．これには下甲介折骨術が奏効した．他はいずれもブジー法だけで全治した．本症に涙嚢切開は無用である．

During a nine-year period, nine of about 550 patients with congenital obstruction of the naso-lacrimal duct had lacrimal amniotoceles. The patients ranged in age from five to 89 days. Of the nine infants, eight were found to have swellings inferior to the medial canthal tendon at birth and the other infant ten days after birth. Two developedacute inflammation. One with uncomplicated amniotocele had an impacted turbinate. She underwent a successful inferior turbinotomy fol-lowing probing. The other eight were cured with a single probing. Incision of the lacrimal sac isnot indicated in this condition.
