眼科領域に於ける好気性芽胞形成桿菌（主としてB．cereusと枯草菌）に関する実験的研究（第2報）

Experimental studies on the aerobic sporing bacilli (report 2)

緒言

　私は第1報に於いてグラム陽性好気性芽胞形成桿菌の中，B．cereus （以下B．c．と略す）と，それに良く似た枯草菌の病原性の比較を，家兎眼及びマウスに就いて実験した。そしてB．c．の毒性の方が枯草菌より遙かに強い事を知り，更に両菌により家兎眼に全眼球炎を発症させた組織学的所見を比較するに，B．c．菌液注射眼の方が炎症所見は，高度，且つ出血性で広範囲であつた事を報告した。

　此の様な強い毒性を持つた菌は，一体外界にどの程度存在するのであろうか。又結膜嚢内には存在するかどうか。私は今回外界と結膜嚢内より分離した菌に就いて，其の細菌学的検索，感受性試験，及び薬剤に対する抵抗性を実験したので茲に報告する。

The author isolated the bacillus cereus similar to the bacillus subtilis from the outer world and the conjunctival sack then examined it bacteriologically, and performed tests for sensibili-ty of the bacillus cereus and for resistibility against various antiseptics.

1. The bacillus cereus were found in the whole place of the outer world, especially in a dusty place.

2. The bacillus cereus has been cultured in 3 eyes out of 103 eyes of abnormal conjuncti-val sack.

3. Sensibility for streptmycin and chlormycin were high, while resistivility for penicillin and sulfathiazole were found.
