緒言

　著者は前報に於て，Orbitonometryの甲状腺疾患の主として診断上の応用に就ての成績を報告したが，今回は放射性ヨードI¹³¹による治療効果の判定にOrbitometryが如何に役立つかに就て検討してみることとした。

As a result, it was made clear that the orbital tension would be superior to the degree of exophthalmos as the indication of the judgement on an improvement or exacerbation of pathologic degeneration in the retrobubar tissues in the orbit, and also that an decrease of the orbital tension would emerge prior to the improvement of the degree of exophthalmos.

It is notable that there are two type in the cases concerning orbital tension ; one increases and decreases the orbital tension in the time of treatment in parallel with B. M. R., struma, and hyperthyroidism, and the other is in the inverse with the former case.
