網膜膠腫の二家系

Two Pedigrees Concerning Retinoblastoma

　網膜膠腫が遺伝的傾向を有することは認められているところであるが，その報告例の極めて少い上に孤立した散発例であること等から現在尚その遺伝を確定するには至つていない。特に本邦に於ける報告例は少く，河本先生^1），高橋氏^2），根本氏^3），庄司氏^4）及び高安氏^5）の同胞例各1例，根本氏^3）の同胞とその伯母の1例を見るに過ぎない。私は今回本症の親子例及び同胞例各1例を得たので報告する。就中親子例は本邦に未だその報告を見ないところである。

Many investigators accept the theory of hereditary disposition as the cause of retinal glio-ma, but it has never been dissolved as yet now.

I have reported a man with retinal glioma whose eye was extracted. His Son and 5 daugh-ters revealed the following result : a son died with bilateral disease, and 2 daughters were a-ffected unilaterally and bilaterally. (These are the first case report in Japan.) Next, 4 bro-thers and 3 sisters with healthy parent were examined. 3 of them were affected 2 of them (both died, bilateral) were man, and 1 of them (died, unilateral) was woman.
