緒言

　所謂眼窩漏斗尖端部症候群の成因の一つとして頭蓋内病変が注目され，既に本症の開頭所見も報告されている^1）。

　我々は一側眼窩漏斗尖端部症候群の開頭所見より蜘網膜変化（sog．Arachnoiditis）を認め，術後の急速な症状の好転より考え，本症候群と蜘網膜変化（殊に視交叉部）との間に重要な関係を有するものと考えるに至つた。その後，一例の本症候群を経験し蜘網膜炎推定の下に治療を行つて恬目すべき結果を得，吾々の想定の裏付けとなつた。

The craniotomies were done in the 3 cases of orbitalsphenoidal fissure syndrom finding ara-chinoiditis (adhesive type) and concluded as follows.

1) Arachinoiditis were considered as one of the causes of the orbital sphenoidal fissure syn-drom. Specially, this arachinoiditis have very important significance for the progresss.

2) No relationship was proved between the histological difference of arachinoidea and the progress.

3) The existence of the exophthalamus were considered not to be included into the essential symptoms of this syndrom because the causes of this syndrom should be requested within the cranium.
