第1章　緒言

　硝子体は周囲の有血管組織から栄養されている関係上之等諸組織に炎症が起れば硝子体に変化が現われる事は当然である。著者は細隙灯顕微鏡的に名種眼内炎性疾患に併発した硝子体変化を観察したので茲にその所見を述べる。

I observed the vitreous changes in the inflammatory eyes with the slitlamp and have acquired the following results.

① The initial inflammatory changes of the vitreous are the appearance of dotlike opa-city and the reduction of motility and the increased relucency.

② The secondary inflammatory changes of the vitreous are the transformation of the framework and the appearances of the other inflammatory opacities.

③ The dotlike opacities can be distinguished into two forms : One is iregular round or a little slender in shape, and is light yellowish brownish grey, and the other one is a little smaller but round, and is light grey.
