緒言
眼科領域における各種化膿性疾患に対する合成ペニシリンの効果は大であるが，今回，新合成されたSulfobenzylpenicillin （SB-PC）の注射用製剤であるLilacillinを使用し，比較的短期日で症状の軽快する例を認めることができたので報告する。
Sulfobenzylpenicillin (Lilacillin) was adminis-tered intramuscularly at 1 to 2g as daily dosis. Ten cases were treated. They consisted of cor-neal ulcer ( 5 cases), dacryocystitis (2), hor-deolum (1), orbital abscess (1) and infection after cataract surgery (1).
Nine cases favorably responded to the treat-ment and resulted in remarkable improvements.
No severe side effects were noted. The treat-ment did not significantly affect detectable liver and kidney functions.
