交感性眼炎の1例の電気生理学的検討

Electrophysiological Studies on a Case of Sympathetic Ophthalmia

緒　言

　交感性眼炎のERGならびにERPついては，いくつかの報告^1〜9）があるが，経過を追つて観察した報告は稀である^3,8,9）。

　今回，著者らは，重症の1症例において，電気生理学的検討を加える機会を得たので，ここに報告する。

We conducted electrophysiological observa-tions on the sympathizing eye of a 17-year-old male patient with severe sympathetic ophthal-mia which developed after corneal laceration with iris prolapse in the fellow eye by a traffic accident.

At the first electrophysiological study 3 weeks after onset of the disease, the scotopic ERG showed a subnormal b-wave pattern with remarkable reduced a-wave and distinct oscilla-tory potential. The 'single' a-wave at the a-wave position was recorded with the monochro-matic flash ERG. Averaged amplitude of the 30 Hz flicker ERG as well as the ERP amplitude was markedly reduced.
