緒言

　脈絡膜を介しての房水排出路を，近藤^1）は中性赤色素による生体染色法を用いて組織学的に証明している。そこで私は虹彩根部切除，あるいは毛様体解離術実施が，この経路による房水排出に対していかなる影響があるかを，近藤と同じく中性赤生体染色法を用いて調べてみたので，ここに報告する。

Albino rabbits were classified into 2 groups. The first group had the peripheral iridectomy and the second group received cyclodialysis on their eyes. These eyes of the both groups were enucleated 1 week, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 months after these operations for the purpose of the histopathological studies. 3 hours before enucle-ation vital staining of these eyes was carried out by injecting Ringer's solution of the dye into the anterior chamber.
