隅角虹彩毛様体切除術を行った虹彩毛様体腫瘍の1例

Trabeculo-iridocyclectomy for tumor of the ciliary body and iris

　虹彩毛様体に認めた色素性腫瘍に対して，隅角虹彩毛様体切除術を試み，病理組織学的検索を加え，良性のmelanocytomaと診断した。臨床的に悪性と確診されない比較的小さい虹彩毛様体腫瘍の症例には，腫瘍の単純摘出術を行い，病理組織学的診断を行うことにより，眼球摘出を避け，視力を保存することが可能である。

We treated a 39-year-old female with cataract and melanocytoma of the iris and the ciliary body in her right eye. We surgically removed the pig-mented tumor by means of 'trabeculo-iridocyclec-tomy' under the assumption of a ciliary body mel-anoma.

Histopathologically, the pigmented lesion showed large cells packed with numerous melanin granules. In bleached preparations, they showed remarkably uniform, plump, polyhedral nevus cells with rela-tively benign cytological features. No recurrence of the tumor has been observed during the postoper-ative period of 8 months.
