緒言
いわゆる特発性網膜剥離の家族的発生については，1885年Langにより初めて指摘せられ，以来1939年Vogt, Richnerらにより詳細な検討がなされたが，本邦においては寺田（1933）の記載をはじめとして，2,3の報告があるにすぎない。現在までわれわれの教室が経験した症例は7家族であるが，ここに屈折，剥離の状態，発生年齢，予後など，さらには網膜剥離の遺伝の問題等につき若干の考察を加えてみたい。
Seven families, 19 eyes of hereditary idiopa-thic retinal detachment were reported. The results we re as follows.
1) Almost all of cases was complicated by myopia, but non-myopic case was showed in one family.
2) The occurring age of detachment has ran-ged from 14 years old to 66 years old, it most occurred in the group of ages of 20 to 30.
3) In each family, the value of refraction and the occurring age of detachment were closely related.
4) Prognosis of hereditary retinal detachment in the 15 cases was generally unfavorable.
As compared to improvemental rate (75.5%) in our cases, its rate of hereditary cases was 36.8%
