I．緒言

　Cortico-steroid点眼，内服などにより高眼圧をきたすことは広く知られてきた。米国学派の一部のごとく，これをProvocationに利用する者もいる^1）が，わが国ではいまだ一般化するには至らない。以前に高眼圧をきたし，これが確実にステロイド点眼によると思われる症例について，それらの遠隔期における各種緑内障検査の様態を検討し，逆にステロイド点眼の誘発試験としての意義にも考察をすすめたい。

In cases with previous episode of definite ste-roid-induced ocular hypertension several glau-coma tests were performed during quiescent stage (from six months to two years after the episode) . In every case tension had been nor-malized and treatment discontinued at the time of testing.

The results showed considerable variations with different tests. It was found that 13/26 of the cases could be interpreted as early glaucoma or suspect, and that among the tests performed water-drinking tonography showed the closest correspondence with steroid responsiveness.
