I．緒言

　血管腫は一般に先天的発生異常であつて，眼瞼結膜や球結膜に発生する血管腫は，さほどまれなものではなく，小さな血管腫の場合，他の皮膚同様に暗赤色を呈し，皮膚面からやや隆起し，ボタン状で，大きいものは地図状を呈するのが普通であるが，今回われわれは右眼下円蓋部結膜に乳頭状に成長した血管腫に遭遇し，これがはなはだしく毛細血管に富む一種の炎性肉芽ではないかと考えられたので報告する。

A report is presented of a 40-year-old male in whom episodes of gross hemorrhage from the right eye proved to be due to capillary he-mangioma in the lower fornix of the conjunc-tival sac. Histological studies of the resected specimen showed areas of necrosis and neova-scularisation as well as capillary networks. The present case was diagnosed as acquired heman-gioma secondary to pyogenic infection ("Gra-nuloma pyogenicum"). The occurrence of this condition in the conjunctival fornix seemed to be quite an exceptilonal one.
