コバルト60照射による網膜症の1例

One Case of Radiation Retinopathy

I．はじめに

　放射線エネルギーの眼に対する作用については，これまでに多くの研究が行なわれている。臨床的には，外眼部，水晶体に関する障害は，しばしば経験されるが，眼底に変化を起こした症例の報告は，日本では，田野^8），飯沼ら^9），山田ら^10）のものを除いてはない。われわれはこの1例を観察し，網膜血管の障害につき2,3の知見を得たので，ここに報告する。

A 41-year-old woman complained of her right exopthalmos. Her visual acuity and fundus we-re normal. The biopsy revealed lymphoblastic sarcoma, then her right orbital region was irra-diated with tele-cobalt of 5130 R in 33 days The exophthalmos completely disappeared but after 3 months her right visual acuity began to decrease to 0.06 with correction. Fundoscopic examination showed hemorrhages, soft and ha-rd exudates in the posterior pole. Some artery and vein were occluded and whitely sheathed.
