副鼻腔から眼窩に侵入した形質細胞腫

Plasmocytoma Invading the Orbit from the Maxillary Sinus

I．まえがき

　周知のごとく眼窩に発生する形質細胞腫には，多発性骨随腫の部分症として見られる骨髄性形質細胞腫（又は骨髄腫）と，骨髄外性（孤立性）形質細胞腫の2型がある。前者はあえて珍しいものではなく，わが国においても約10例の報告があるが，後者についてはわが国耳鼻科領域では約20例の報告があるにも拘らず，眼科領域では未だ記載が見当らない。

　私共は上顎洞から眼窩に侵入した骨髄外性形質細胞腫と思われる1例を経験したので，簡単に報告する。

1) In a 35-year-old male with chief compla-int of diplopia, plasmocytoma was observed invading the orbit from the maxillary sinus.

2) No remarkable abnormality was seen in pathohistological findings of the tumor, general clinical and roentgenological findings, especially in blood serum protein picture, blood picture, myelogram, and Bence-Johnes protein body. Consequently the diagnosis of the so-called ex-tramedullary plasmocytoma was made.

3) However, long observation is considered necessary in order to obtain a definite conclu-sion.
