上顎癌の眼窩内侵入に対する診断

DIAGNOSTIC TECHNIC IN ORBITAL INVASION OF MAXILLARY CANCER

　I．はじめに

　副鼻腔に発生した悪性腫瘍はしばしば隣接の眼窩内に侵入し，治療面では眼球摘出の適否が問題となる。眼窩内腫瘍は進展したものでは当然眼球の偏位や突出，眼球運動の障害，視力障害などを呈しその診断は容易であるが，比較的初期にはこれらの症状を呈さず，眼窩内に存在することもある。

　このような症例における眼窩内腫瘍の診断は一般に単純X線像や断層写真によつて行なわれる場合が多いが，われわれは最近経験した上顎癌の1例に眼窩静脈撮影，超音波検査，シンチグラムなどを行ない，眼窩内軟部組織における腫瘍の診断法について検討を加えたので報告する。

　For the purpose of making a diagnosis in a case where the maxillary cancer is suspected of having made an expansive invasion of the orbital region, orbital venography, ultrasonic and scintigraphic investigations were undertaken.

　The results of these examinations brought the exact localization of the growth in the orbit.

　The authors conclude that these diagnostic entities bring an exellent prospects as aids in the process of diagnosis.
