I．緒言

　FO型眼底血圧計^3）4）は眼球壁に吸盤をあて，眼球を歪ませる時の眼圧を記録する装置である。吸盤内陰圧を急速に高めた後，その陰圧を一定に保つ時の眼圧記録曲線を研究した。

Physiological saline was rapidly injected into the anterior chamber of a live rabbit. The intraocular pressure gradually descending af-ter the injection was recorded by a closed manometer. Then the intraocular pressure of human eyes was rapidly heightened by nega-tive pressure within the suctorial disk of FO type ophthalmodynamometer. The intraocular prssurc descending thereafter was recorded by this ophthalmodynamometer. From the fore-going experiments, the following facts were clarified. When the intraocular pressure is rapidly heightened, the eyeball wall extends.
