I．まえがき

　周知のごとく，近年フリュクテンは著しく減少したが，主として20〜30台の女子の眼球結膜の瞼裂部に生じ，多くの場合潰瘍を作らないフリュクテン様小結節は，割合にあるように思われる。

　私共はこの数年間に，以上のような患者の6例を組織学的に検査し，その5例に少しく興味ある所見を得たので，その大要を報告する。

Recently the typical phlyctenule has rema-rkably decreased in incidence, but there seems to be relatively frequent occurrence of phl-yctenule-like nodule chiefly in females in the third and fourth decade of life, which is for-med in the interpalpebral fissure of the conj-unctiva bulbi and assumes small bulla- or small follicle-like appearance without producing ul-cer.

The authors histologically investigated 6 cases of the above mentioned nodules. In one of them a small number of giant cells were observed, and its findings agreed with the generally accepted description of the phlycten.
