I．緒言

　家族性角膜変性に関しては，1890年Groe—nouw^1）がKnötchenförmige Hornhauttru—büngenを記載して以来，今日迄多数の報告例がみられてきたにも拘わらず，その原因および本態は依然として不明である。

　本症は家族的に発現する傾向がつよく，多くは10乃至20歳頃迄に発病すること，臨床的に炎症症状がみられず徐々に角膜混濁を増すこと等の共通した特徴をもつている。しかし角膜混濁の外観は千差万別で，その混濁の型状により，結節状，格子状，斑状，更に本邦の清沢^2）によつて命名された膠様滴状，以上のような変性に分類されている。我々は最近，同胞全員に現われた角膜変性の1家系に遭遇し，これを観察する機会を得たので，その臨床的所見並に病理組織的所見について報告する。

Recently, 3 cases of corneal degeneraticn occuring in all 3 children from the same parents, always at the age of 3 years, were experienced at this clinic. The clinical sym-ptoms belonged to those of nodular degene-ration.

Hereditary relations could not be elicited. The lower the physical resistance, the seve-rer were the symptoms.

Pathohistological examination of the speci-men of cornea taken from the left eye of one of the cases subjected to penetrating Ke-ratoplasty revealed a finding suggestive of amyloid degeneration.
